Carl F. von dem Bussche, Jr.

Carl, the main contact for Nashville area clients, started playing music professionally in college while studying business and accounting. After graduating with a business degree and completing his Series 65 exam, he went to work for FGG as a Registered Investment Advisor Representative until his band was signed to a national recording contract in 2001. Carl toured the country extensively and had several successful radio singles, all the while working for FGG on his days at home until moving to Nashville in 2003. The band disbanded in 2004 and Carl took a job in A&R at EMI Music (Now Capitol Records) in Nashville. Throughout his time in Nashville, Carl also focused on songwriting as well as doing financial planning for producers, artists and entertainment professionals. In 2005, he and his wife Kristin moved back to Tampa to help start Relevant Church where he was the Creative Arts Pastor and Finance Director for 11 years. In 2016, Carl came back to the family business as the VP of Planning & Coaching and started our Nashville area office located in historic downtown Franklin. He received his Certificate in Financial Planning from Belmont University and successfully challenged the CFP exam to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. Carl and Kristin have two daughters, Aubrey and Adelie and live in Franklin, TN. Carl’s expertise and experience allow him to give a unique perspective as he provides financial planning for the creative community and beyond.
